Stopped at Crawford Notch State Park today! Got some great photos of The Sliver cascade and the Flume Cascade, due to the spring melt and recent rain they were really flowing! Great area for hikes and photos!!

This is not your typical state park full of parking lots and picnic tables. This is a wilderness park whereby you should plan on doing some hiking including elevation gain when you arrive.

Crawford Notch State Park is wonderful to hike when you are in the New Hampshire area. There in late September so we missed the fall foliage.

Stunning Fall Foliage beauty. The colors peaking at the time of our visit. The colors mixed with the granite mountain side is Mother Nature’s stunning glory.

We spent four days in the White Mountains in mid-October, staying not far from Crawford Notch State Park. So many hikes in the area! We did the Arethusa Falls and Ripley Falls hikes -- both were good. Arethusa Falls was the longer hike and prettier,...More

Our concierge at Omni Mount Washington suggested Crawford Notch and this hike as an alternative to driving to Franconia Notch to see waterfalls. It's a 40 minute round trip hike to see the falls. We parked at the very end of the road off 302,...More

Camped here for a weekend in the fall. Platform 1 site was nice not too close to our neighbors. Showers are $0.25 for 3 minutes but they get hot quick and have good water pressure. One advice tip would be to use the flush toilets...More

Not that I am aware. The state site has campground maps only. Most/all guides of the area show them however. Your focus would be both the many small falls along Bemis Brook (worth the short side walk) and Aretha Falls. You... More
