We are very fortunate to have this Gem of Historical interest to share and enjoy with the many visitors who visit Bridlington , due to the building and grounds being located approx 3 miles away from Bridlington itself. Both my husband and I have visited Burton Agnes Hall and Grounds, both with family (Our Grandchildren now 7 and 11 years... More

Burton Agnes Hall is a really lovely Elizabethan/Jacobean house with fantastic history and with an amazing collection of beautiful post-Impressionist and modern art - the owners commission new works and every year there are artists in residence, so it can be very exciting for art lovers. The gardens are also spectacularly beautiful. In the spring there are snowdrop and bluebell... More

Arrived midweek to see the Hall all festooned with the majority of decorations being handmade. We try to visit once every couple of years at this time of year. We were not disappointed. The Grand Hall as you enter the house is excellent, at certain times this is where Santa meets the children, sat in front of the roaring fire... More

Visited for the first time to see the decorations. It is obvious that a lot of care, hard work and attention have gone into these. We had a long talk to one of the guides and although we did not spend a long time at the hall we were not disappointed.

Visited Burton Agnes to see the Christmas decorations recently. Impressed with the variety of decorations, many of which were imaginatively home made by staff and family members, including crocheted, knitted and paper items. Lovely house and well worth a visit. Don't forget to take a look at the Old Manor House.

This was my second visit to Burton Agnes Hall, and was specifically to see the Christmas Decorations there. My first visit a couple of years ago left me with a very good impression of both the the Hall and the gardens which in the summer were truly beautiful. In November the gardens were no longer so beautiful, but nevertheless still... More

A lovely day out with family, 4 adults, a toddler and one oap. We spent 3 hours there, arriving at 11, when it opened. £10 entry but free parking which balances out the price of a day out. Gorgeous Christmas displays in the house, beautiful gardens and grounds, and a cracking bacon butty and soup in the tea room afterwards... More

Went to Burton Agnes Hall as staying in the area, but had little idea what to expect. The visit included the Old Manor House, the Hall, the Gardens and the church. The Manor House was amazing, entering by the downstairs "crypt " level showing all the supporting arches, then up a winding staircase to the main living room. Out side... More

I thought last years display was good but this years is "Stunning" You must plan a trip before Christmas. They have used foliage from the garden together with wonderfully crafted paper items as decoration. Looking for the knitted Frosty the Snowman in each room brings back memories of games of "Hide & Seek" The food in the café is again... More
