There are 2 paths to the grotto, a beautiful meandering path through the trees and along the road down some steep steps with a handrail which helps. The path through the trees is steep in parts with some loose rocks. If your unsteady on your...More

Nice scenic ride with interesting cave-church at the end. We stopped few times during the ride, and walked to admire the view. There are few places to do so along the way. One-direction regulations are no longer the case. Worth the extra driving time to...More

If you want to spend some time away from rutin and feel existence of moment, hermitage chapel is worth a visit. The cliffs and the river is amazing not just to see, but to go for hike along the river.

An amazing drive along a corniche road that is so narrow in places that two cars could not possibly pass. The cliffs tower above you and the river is mostly out of sight far below, heard but not seen. The hermitage chapel is worth a...More

We drove through the Galamus Gorge after visiting Queribus and Peyrepertuse castles. The gorge is traffic light controlled as there is only room for cars going one way at a time. The views are stunning for passengers but you can't stop for the driver to...More

Free and yet so well tended. It's one way alternating traffic when driving through the gorges. That is most definitely a good thing as the over hanging rocks and narrow road would making passing an on coming vehicle a bit trick to say the least!...More

You can go (slowly) by car, but expect to be blocked and have some difficult manoeuvres if you cross someone from the other side. Better to park from one side or the other and walk along the road (30-45 minutes go and back) looking at...More

Came across the gorge by chance. Had visited Rennes le Chateau & sat nav took us on via this route. I loved the drive but passengers weren't happy :), especially the one who woke up half way through!
