We took the grandies, aged five and four, and they really enjoyed their train ride, the school house, the chickens, old shops and the ability to run around. We thought they would only be entertained for a short while. Our visit was about an hour...More

A lot of old farm machinery still in working order and many old motors made in the Toowoomba Foundary which no longer exists. Many other interesting exhibits. A very enjoyable visit. Rod

We were very surprised at the extent of this Village and the friendly volunteers we spoke to. They went out of their way to let us see as much as possible in the time available; there was a lot of very different things to see.

Walk around a few acres viewing a vast variety of buildings (eg butcher shop, wagon shed, school house) each housing historical items relating to their purpose. if you are a history buff allow a full day to get a good look at everything.

Absolute highlight to our short vacation. A credit to all the creators and volunteer staff, who were so friendly and informative. There is so much to see, you need at least 2 hours or more to get around the whole complex. To much to comment...More

The open days over Easter are an excellent experience. We were able to see Ned Kelly being arrested, an Indigenous dancer, and an interesting parade of old machinery. All around a great day out.
