Rinca is not far, cheaper and faster to go. The komodo is more active and the tracking is also very nice. Very recomended. But loh liang in komodo island i like more because the komodo here is much bigger than the one in rinca.

Try Le Pirate, they have 3 boats that fit 8 people comfortably. Well maintained and clean. 2 of these boats have cabins for overnight stay. I chartered one 3 weeks ago and coasted USD 550 for 2 days.
