Two hours by train from Sydney, Cabramatta is worth to visit. There are many street food sellers along the street and off course Asian food restaurant. I felt I was not in Australia for a while when I was there. I hardly found westerners and it reminded me of my home town

It looks like a city of Vietnam, most of the shops and the restaurants are Vietnamese, they have Laos, Cambodian, Thai , Chinese and vegetarians food too. The noodle bars are very tasty and cheap. If you don't have time to go visit Vietnam, this is the best place to visit. The fresh market is No. 1, the seafood, meat vegetable... More

There's no place like it. A place where all cultures blend together so harmoniously. You can picture yourself in Hong Kong, Vietnam, Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Philippines, Thailand, India, etc, all rolled into one. If you've never been to Cabramatta, go there at least once so you too can experience it.

Take a train or drive out to Cabramatta for a wander and enjoy the Fujitsu of Vietnam right in western Stdney. A great afternoon or morning wandering around some interesting shops and finish with some of the best cheap eats in town.

Took 45 minutes from Martin Place, with a change of train in Town Hall station. In hindsight , we should have taken the train from Wynyard. Easy walk in the area from the Cabramatta station. Had lunch at one if Vietnamese cafe - saw lots of locals eating there so we just trust our instincts. There are lots of food... More

The renowned streets of Cabramatta will transform into a cultural extravaganza with food stalls, markets, performances and fairground rides. It is one big festival where all the local communities are invited to come together to celebrate the annual Moon Festival in September every year. There are heaps of amusement rides and games on the day. It's like attending the Royal... More

Excellent for those who wish to have a taste of Asia. The foods, the atmosphere, the people are definitely wonderful. Disappointed with the quality of public amenities, limited parking spaces. Drivers, be alert with parking rangers who would snuck on you to issue a fine for trivial offence such as double parking.

Located very close to the Cabramatta station, be sure to cross over the main street where you can see all shops managed by Asians from all walks of nationalities ranging from Cambodians, Thais, Chinese and mainly Vietnamese. There are stores with good prices for daily groceries, electronics, clothings and even seafood. There are a few Chinese and Vietnamese stores that... More

Cabramatta shopping centre is a bustling expose of all things Asian... and more! The whole shopping centre, comprising four streets in a rectangle, are a wonder to see and experience! There are small shops for all sorts of food and drinks, groceries, materials of every colour, not to mention the meat and fish markets. You may drive... there is plenty... More
