I have been visiting Jervaulx and area since 1983.and I never tire of the place. I do wish more people would use the honesty box . The abbey is privately owned and relies on public income to survive. It is worth every penny to visit...More

We 'came upon' the Abbey quite by surprise whilst travelling cross-country to one of our favourite restaurants and had to stop for a look. The setting band grounds are simply breathtaking, but what is special is the way the ruins have been preserved -rather than...More

Beautiful ruined abbey set in quiet, rolling countryside. There is ample parking at the cafe opposite with an honesty box for £1 parking fee. Cross the road to access the abbey site, be careful because its a fast section of road with a bit of...More
