Getting a good view of the surrounding valley, exactly what they were built for. It's worth paying for the family that charges for the entrance, as many of the towers belong to a family or a village.

Actually the real attraction of the Danba region in Sichuan province is the small Tibetan villages There are 4 that attract special attention: JiaJu, BuKe, SuoPo and ZhongLu). The best tower is said to be at SuoPo.

The village is just at the hillside and facing the valley of Dadu river.It'd better to spend a night here to experience the folk house of Jiarong Tibet. Danba Town sits in a valley between towering mountains on which are dotted picturesque traditional Tibetan villages amongst fields of barley and other crops.
