My Miao friends from Kaili brought me here. Yes, it is commercial like Lijiang or Dali, but you can have a good time here. Especially the local food is enjoyable. A place where you can make friends with the Miao ethnic group.

I'm sure the village brings in a lot of revenue for the Miao people but it is again a typical commercialization of a minority's lifestyle. Thousands of people flock here to pose in Miao costumes and buy useless stuff in one of the many shops....More

This is a charming village of the minority Miao people and one should visit before it becomes over-run with tourists. Quite remote but beautiful.
