The Schlosspark is quite extensive and ideal for an afternoon walk, picnic, boatride or run. Ideal for families, kids, couples or single. Parking is an issue on weekends, however. Highly recommended for a quick trip out of the city.

the place to be visited. It was once a honeymoon place of Sisi and her husband, now a nature park where I propose a train ride.

The park is huge and the grounds are amazing, we took the train and the boat ride, then we walked. The playground for the kids is great.

you can go by "badner bahn "from the vienna opera.....get out at "wiener neudorf station"and connect to the "mödling-laxenburg"bus line, or take a cab from there, best is to ask the driver of badner bahn.
