Brewery tours run Monday to Saturday, starting from the Visitors Centre, they last approximately 2 hours. The first 1½ hours are spent around the brewery where you'll see our original steam engine, learn about our history and how we make our range of delicious beers. Once outside the Brewery, don't forget to keep an eye out for our working Shire horses, which still deliver beer to our local pubs. If you are planning a visit to the brewery and would like to see the drays on their regular delivery rounds it is always best to phone ahead and check that the shires will be working on that day. In any event, the tour of the brewery includes a tour of the stables so you won’t miss out on seeing these amazing animals. Upon completion of the tour, it's back to our sampling bar in the Visitor Centre for a ½ hour beer tasting. It is essential to book a Brewery Tour by contacting us on the phone or email. Cost: £14.50 per person, £12.00 concessions

My wife & I visited the Brewery Tour yesterday and thoroughly enjoyed what we saw and learnt. The tour itself lasted about 1.5 hours and took in the various stages of the brewing process including meeting the Dray Horses, followed by a tasting of up to 3 beers of your choice. The Brewery itself is Victorian and still uses much... More

A group of 18 of us went round in two groups on an evening tour last Friday. Awesome brewery, steeped in real tradition, with very friendly and knowledgeable guides. Really got to understand the brewing process. Tastings at the end were plentiful (what's not to like) and we bought a few excellent pork pies to nibble on too. Very pretty... More

We thoroughly enjoyed the tour in this old Victorian building where the old machinery is still in use - a testament to the engineering of the era. The brewing aroma prevailed throughout as two beers being produced on the morning of our visit. Our guide was informative and amusing and the perfect host during the very enjoyable tasting at the... I have been on a number of Brewery tours and this was the best so far. The guide was enthusiastic and knowledgeable and talked us the death! It was a trip back to the past as they use old machinery with a working steam engine - really worth the admission. Nice to see working Shires too and the tasting at... More

Recently did the tour, visited stables and had a great time. Malcolm our guide was excellent throughout. We meet Elizabeth who looked after the Shire horses and made us very welcome. Would definitely recommend this tour to anyone visiting Hook Norton.

Fantastic guided tour of the listed building by Malcolm where we were talked through the brewing process. Followed by beer tasting and we came away with a free glass. A good couple of hours spent.

The oldest brewery in England and all pretty much still as it was in 1900, yet fully operational. Still producing excellent real ales, it is a very interesting visit and includes excellent bar tasting at the end. Thanks Hooky - Would highly recommend!
