Booked this tour months in advance as we heard it booked up quickly. We went with the intention of seeing Orcas and we're not disappointed. Apparently Orcas are common in June and we had very close encounters with a family pod which we stayed with...More

Very professionally done tour. Shuttle provided from hotel, that costs extra, but picked up on time, and would drop off any where close to route. Could choose from several types of boats. Ours was covered in front but could go to upper observation deck. Guide...More

I recommend checking the breakdown in where the time is spent before committing to this trip. We were picked up in downtown Vancouver at 12.30 and returned at around 8pm. We estimated around an hour following a pod of 5 orcas and otherwise we were...More

We went out on the Lightship with the best guide and had an incredible time. I wasn't expecting to see so much, we were very lucky. The guide was knowledgeable and lovely. We couldn't recommend this more. It's a must do in Vancouver!

I couldn't recommend this enough. I went on the Strider boat, which was a great experience in itself! We saw sea lions, orcas, eagles and porpoise. Probably had an hour and a half (maybe 2 hours) around the whales, and it was done in a...More

We actually did the Vancouver Whale watch twice! On our first trip we had a brief encounter with x2 Humpback Whales and that was it, through no fault of the company. If the whales are not around, they're not around and no one to blame!...More

I was worried we weren't going to see any whales, but we saw quite a few. I don't know if I'd do it again considering it's not that cheap, but it is something you have to do at least once! We were able to take...More

We went out on one of the 12 man rafts, instead of the bigger partially enclosed boats. The ride out and back was a ton of fun. A little bumpy at times, but super great when we hit a big wave or swell! Honestly I...More

We started off a little rough, having to go back to the dock twice. The reasons were beyond the crew's control. Once we got going it was great. We saw sea lions, bald eagles, seals, 3 transient killer whales and a humpback. The boat was...More

We chose the red Lightship vessel, which was very fast, open air, and thrilling! On the day (21st May), we managed to see 2 or 3 killer whales, 2 humpback whales, different species of sea lions, harbour seals, bald eagles etc. It was quite fulfilling!...More

Well here's my advice, we have snow now (March 6th and it is very cold). The whale watchers only go out if the temp is above 0 centigrade. I would suggest you leave it till April at least the whales are in the Strait of... More
