This was the first time I went to this park and I'm definitely come back. In comparison with Capilano suspension bridge I think this is better considering the fact that you will save $30 CAD of course that Capilano bridge is way longer and spacious....More

I love this place. A short drive from downtown. Free parking. Well organized system of hiking paths with nothing too strenuous and many special spots to stop and marvel at. Rushing water down a narrow canyon. Places you can go for a dip. Fishing spots....More

This place is pure magic, within walking distance you'll find a suspension bridge, warmterfalls, natural pools, amazing rain forest walks It has an excellent cafeteria and an ecology center not to be missed One of my best choices to visit in Vancouver, no doubt!

Same experience as Capilano park up the road but for Free it is a great deal. Suspension bridge is smaller, trails are a bit more rustic and crowds are absent. If you are looking for a gain forest experience, this is the place to go.

We had a very enjoyable visit - caught the Sea Bus from downtown Vancouver to Lonsdale Quay and then the bus - on the same ticket and well priced public transport (even cheaper on a public holiday). It was a pleasant walk - about 20...More

Spent a very crowed public holiday there but plenty of space and picnic tables and a wow factor so a great day had by all. One of the draw cards apart from the scenery, a suspension bridge over a gorge with rushing water from the...More

We went to Lynn Canyon by public transport and it was quite easy but involved 3 buses. The park is well signposted and the map was very helpful. The ladies in the visitors centre were able to explain everything you needed to know and guided...More

Wish I had seen this first and avoided the crowds and cost of Capilano. This is a spectacular site, with wonderful views and very small crowds -- even on a weekend afternoon. At least as special as Capilano and far superior.

Yes but I would recommend on a leash.
What is the best think to wear for a hike end of June? Thinking mosquitos...shorts or pants? Hiking shoes or regular cross trainers?

Mosquitos are seldom a problem in Vancouver as there is cold running water and/or salt water, unless you are hiking in a solid bush and the trails in Lynn Canyon are well cleared.

I have been across a few times with my grandkids when they were this age or younger. Nothing to worry about though you would want to stay close to them when crossing.
