Very interesting site. Magnificent stonework even though the ravages of time and weather have taken its toll. Quite a history when checking out the gravestones in the cemetery on the church property
Had a lovely weekend with my sister. We visited St.Raphael's Ruins and it was simply beautiful. Would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting the area.
Historic site 60kms from home and didn't know about it untill i saw the site on a bike ride. Went back 1 week later just to show my girlfriend and take a few pics.
We were in cornwall and thought we would visit the ruins. It was very beautiful. It's quite amazing to see the church walls and the surrounding cemetery. The pictures that were shown to us shows quite a beautiful church. Very historical
Eerily. Ethereal. Enthralling. What a special place! We've attended concerts here and the've been amazing. Other times, just enjoyed the tragic spectacle of this open air cathedral.
This place is very good for taking pictures. Very peaceful. Cemetery behind church as well. This is a historic landmark
Historic StRaphael's Ruins will always remain a special place in my heart. Majical and powerful the energy you feel when you walk through. Very peaceful. I lived there for many years and still remember when it burned down...I was 6 years old when it happened. Great view from the back and enjoy the smell of the distant fields....only in St-Raphael's... Needs serious restoration, squirrels running out of nuts bring your own...OK actually many years ago worked open air concerts at location for the College, it's beautiful..stop in..great accoustics
