The Nk’mip Desert Cultural Centre is a 9,000 square-foot interpretive centre that exhibits 2 films, the Inkameep Day School Art Collection, indoor and outdoor interactive exhibits, a 1.5 km walking trail, and reconstructed traditional Okanagan village, and (visitor favourite) interpreter hosted programs which boast a fun filled experience for all ages! The centre is also an architectural marvel, and was built from local, sustainable materials.

I loved the tour at the NK'Mip Desert Cultural Centre. There is a live rattlesnake in a terrarium. Good displays, both inside and outside. Didn't know Canada had geography like this.

Very educational and fun. Cool to learn about the surrounding area and all the critters. Very nice that we are able to go on a walk around the area to fully experience it all.

Our website says we are open Mondays, Thursdays and Fridays only from 10am until 4pm. This should change in April but until then these are our current hours. Thank you.
