I am scared of horses so I was reluctant to try this. But I am 100 % glad that I did. The views were beautiful and the horses were calm and gentle. The only thing was it was a little scary when we were coming down on the side of a huge hill. But the horses handled it with ease... More

We were staying in the cabins at old entrance inn and arrange a 3hr trail ride with our lovely host Mary. I had not been on a horse for years and my partner had never ridden - not a problem. The horses were all wonderful and easy to manage. The views across the Athabasca river into Jasper park are breath-taking.... More

My youngest daughter loves to ride horses and it had been a while since our family had ridden so I thought this was a must - the only vacation we were all on for summer 2016! Mary is the epitome of hard-working western woman you ventured west and made a living. A harder, weather-worn living then the city types that... More

I'm sure the trail rides are great. However you must call ahead. I called on a Saturday morning during peak season (August) only to be told that there was to be no riding that day.

We went on the 2 hour trail ride and couldn't be more satisfied. The staff is supernice, the horses are happy and healthy living in a great environment. The ride was very fun with great views and the guide was the best! 5 out of 5, would give it 10 if possible. Will DEFINETLY come back.

Had a family gathering of 12 at the Old Entrance Bed n Breakfast, great spot along the Athabasca river. Beautiful views clear air, horse back riding through the hills, close to town of Hinton for supplies. Staff very friendly and accomdating, would recommend to anyone to visit if they want to get back to nature and enjoy.

We travelled to Hinton knowing we would have to stay somewhere for the night. My wife found Old Entrance while looking on the Hinton visitors guide. While they are not accustomed to take bookings for one night we we're given the opportunity to stay regardless. We stayed in one of the Teepee's which was cozy and was so close to... More

My boyfriend and I went to Old Entrance Trailrides in the summer for the night, we had an amazing time! We went on a 2 hour trailride, and it was one of the greatest experiences we've ever had!
