We had done quite a lot of walking in mountains and wanted something a bit different. This was mostly flat but it was very boring to our way of thinking. It was virtually all in forest with hardly any views or points of interest to...More

Near the parks and wildlife shop is a short walk around a very pretty lake. Took some lovely photos and even caught a little chipmunk on video. The reflections on the lake were really picturesque.

We had plans to arrive in Jasper for the night, but because of the weather, decided to stay in Hinton. Wanting to get out for a walk, we went the extra 15 minutes down to the lake in this park and it was beautiful!
