This place not only has an interesting museum with quaint and fascinating artifacts, but also gets you right into the Indian history and culture. They have school programs if you're a teacher like me needing ideas! The best part - there's a realistic Indian village...More
Great stop if you are passing through the area. The village was really neat to walk through although I would have loved to have had a guide or live person inside to share some information above what was posted on the boards.

Cool place. I learned a lot about the heron culture. Really liked wig wam and tobacco information.cool that they showed respect to animals. They had a lot of cool customs. Lots of different tribes lived together in peace.
liked the indoor museum section better than the outdoor village. Outdoor village was self guided and I felt it could have used better signage to describe the sites. Indoor was quite interesting, especially the maritime section of photographs and ship models
