The Midland Cultural Centre offers great and varied types of entertainment and also has the Cafe Roxy for excellent dishes. Cafe Roxy’s owner is Executive Chef Glen Grittani. He and his partner Elaine Martin prepare excellent lunches and dinners. Many people in town drop in for a nice lunch there quite often as the food choices are excellent. The Café... More

I had the pleasure of visiting the Midland Cultural Centre for the first time to watch the Huronia players perform “Aberhart Summer”. I thoroughly enjoyed the complexities of this play as the character of Doug played by John Leclair lead us through the events of his life. The cast and crew presented a well-polished piece. This facility is a wonderful... More

The stage was quite large and used extensively for the large cast in the show we saw. During the intermission, there was lots of... More

The building is full of light because of all the windows, brightened by the art on display We timed things poorly because we arrived on a day when upstairs exhibits were being changed but what we did see was excellent The cafe in the lobby offered good coffee and snacks- we had lunched elsewhere but will be back to give... If you haven't tried the food at the Cafe Roxy lately, then you absolutely must! New manager Chef Glenn concocts the most amazing soups - today I had Cream of Chicken with Mushrooms - a winner! The Cafe also has an all you can eat salad bar, a tasty variety of sandwiches and wraps, homemade muffins, scones and sweet treats.... More

First time in Midland, and we came for a concert at the Midland Cultural Centre. What a great space! Nice and comfortable, free-standing chairs so you can shift them a bit this way or that as needed, and you don't have to share an armrest, easy to see the stage from wherever you are. They are a "scent-free" space, they... More
