We are THEMUSEUM - oneword, UPPERCASE. We are a new kind of museum - one of ideas and experiences. No dusty objects, no collections, and no velvet ropes here. We are dedicated to presenting fresh, relevant cultural content from around the globe in unique and interactive ways that intersect art, science, culture and technology. We are a premier cultural destination and a hub for creative thinking and inspired play. I had a high expectation before I visit THE MUSEUM. The website is user-friendly. I had no troubles of finding the operating hours and costs of the tickets. It would be awesome if the tickets are available to purchased online. Since the regular cost of the ticket $11.95 plus tax is relatively expensive, special price on Wednesdays may be the... More

TheMuseum is a destination that provides a diverse range of attractions and activities that are suitable for people of all age groups. The marketing initiatives through social media outlets (e.g. promotional videos on Facebook) made this destination more prominent compared to other destinations in the area. The ease of navigation on their website (i.e. current events, museum hours, maps, admission)... More

Judging by the its rating on TripAdvisor and its picture on Google we were pretty excited to go there. The place is easy to find both physically and online. It is located near the city centre and is easy to get to via public transport and there was free parking too. Upon reaching there, our first impression was not too... More

Our first introduction to The MUSEUM was from the website. We were excited to see that there was a temporary exhibition on natural disasters and other interesting exhibitions such as a walking piano. With high expectations we visited The MUSEUM and found it quite disappointing for millennial visitors. That being said, we would definitely recommend it to families with small... More

The Museum is located in downtown Kitchener on the main King Street. I visited the museum on Sunday morning just before 11AM. The free street parking is available by the front of the museum, and across the street as well. There was none available by the time I visited, but there are free parking lots available just in a block distance. The museum... More

This place falls a little bit into the trap of most science museums, in that the museum has to sell itself on edutainment for the kids in order to be financially viable, and thus it affects if there is an exhibit which is designed primarily for adults. We were there for an exhibit on quantum computers, but it involved a... More

I took my niece and nephew (7 and 5) here over the holidays and they had a BLAST! The staff here are very friendly and knowledgeable (thank goodness because I was never a science-kid!). They had the best time playing with the giant blocks on the main floor, and there was a demonstration on quantum science which they loved as... More

I took my niece here for a few hours on a Friday. There were lots of exhibits and things for her to check out. Even in not all exhibits were age appropriate, they do a good job at making sure there is something for kids of all ages. We enjoyed the Quantum exhibit and Nature Unleashed. Please don't expect what... More
