Been here a few times, either just to stare out at the water, or take some pictures on the rocks. It only takes a 10 minute stop on your way to Whistler or Squamish to view this beautiful scenery we call home.

Went to Porteau Cove Provincial Park for an annual camping trip with friends. We booked 2 walk-in sites, and 1 large site. The views and park atmosphere were great, and we were never bored. There is always something to do in this area. However, the...More

This is paradise if you can get in. Always full and getting worse. Lots of places to explore. Close to the city if you forget something.

I stopped at this beach and was erroneously expecting a trail to walk. Instead, I went with it and walked half the length of the pebble beach, entering it by rather carefully navigating driftwoods that separate the gravel road leading from the carpark to the...More

I would like to start by saying we are frequent users of this park for a umber of years and have noticed a steady decrease in the attitude of the staff. One can not help but think this starts with the long term employees and...More

The walk in camp sites are terrible. Tiny with zero privacy, no fire pits and no picnic tables. They stick communal areas right beside some of the sites so you get even less privacy. Kids running around constantly make it feel like you pitched a...More

We have been going here for 25 years and we are supporters of BC Parks but the staff here have been awful for the past 2 years. We camped there this week end and were bullied and picked on for various reasons. We are a...More

We stayed for one night at a walk in site, which was only a couple minutes walk from our car. It was worth it to not have cars driving by all the time and if you needed a wheelbarrow they were available to wheel stuff...More

Where to begin, first off the good. Beautiful scenery mixed with evergreens and ocean. Swimming, boating ect. The bad Rangers are militant and enforce rules unequally. We have been to this campground five years in a row and the last two have been both bad...More

The best would be to call and ask the campsite manager, some lots were larger than other and could accommodate a few larger tents

You can walk around the site no problem, you just won't be allowed to take your car in unless you are staying or visiting a campsite. Head right to the back, there is a small inlet with a great lookout.

Yes. There is a socket for large RVs and trailers for each site. Except the walk-in, no-vehicles sites.
