If you haven't camped at Porteau Cove Provincial park before, it's worth figuring out the Provincial Campsite Reservation System for! And you will need a reservation. It has some of the most picturesque scenery in Canada. And the campsites are great. If you're lucky enough to get one of the waterfront sites, you scored! Make sure you're well set with... More

Beautiful place to visit, but impossible to get a camping site during peak times. No first come first served sites available during peak season. r Reservation fee is just a money grab, expensive place to camp. Staff can be problematic. Rules not enforced equally. Can either be a no fun place or the wild wild west.

We camped here for one night in June. Usually this place is fully booked but we got lucky on the website and managed to get a shoreside campsite for one night. Although it is quite expensive for a campsite, the grounds are well maintained and there is an indoor shower and toilets. The view from our campsite was amazing, it... More

Nice place to stop by and explore. Bring lunch and picnic and one of the many tables along the waterfront.

If you want to stretch your legs on the drive up sea to sky great stop off. The toilets are clean and easy to access. They have many camp spots and is a scuba diving park as well. Great place to bring the family for a picnic.

Porteau cove is a great stop on the sea-to-sky highway. It has good washroom facilities, and numerous picnic tables to enjoy a picnic lunch. The ferry dock is sturdy, and has nice vantage points to climb up on. There is a separated diving area. The provincial campsite is also accessible, as is a beautiful beach. It's an easy turn off... Not far past Britannia Beach and a little ways from Squamish is a turn off to Porteau Cove Provincial Park. Here's a great place to stop to admire the splendour of Howe Sound. The boat launch has been upgraded, and there's an observation deck that makes it possible to take in the view 360. The parking lot can get crowded... More

We stopped here for a break on our road trip to Pemberton. Very scenic view point even though we arrived on a cloudy day. We enjoyed walking the stretched out bridge and spotted some interesting water birds. A good place for boating and picnic; if you want to stay and enjoy it longer, there is a camp site and couple... This campsite has nice view of the cove and mountains and is beside the sea-to-sky highway. Other places nearby to visit are Shannon Falls, Brackendale eagle viewing, the new Sea-to-Sky gondola, Squamish and Whistler. One thing we hate while overnight camping is the very, very loud irritating, metallic noise the train makes when it passes by in the middle of... More

We stopped here on our way through to go to the beach. The beach is for sure nice to go for a walk at and there are benches for picnics. If you wanna go swimming though it might be a bit difficult. The beach is rocky and there were quellyfish in the water, so we had to be careful when... More
