An interesting short stop on your journey through Glacier National Park. Plenty of wildlife and history to read about. Also trail /wildlife information available. Free entry if you already have a park pass.

We stopped at the Museum on the way to Okanagan. It was quite small but had a good story to tell and had some great stuffed animals on display.

We stopped to use the restroom and then popped inside to the discovery centre. We needed our Park's pass to enter but were treated to a really great display and a very interesting video about bears. We ended up staying a lot longer than anticipated.

The main feature is a film about controlling avalanches, but it is from the early 1970s. Surely it could be updated now. There were some nice stuffed animals but really not much about the history of the Park or the road and railroad sagas that...More
