The entry fee is very reasonable considering they offer free guided tours (at 10:30, 11:30, 1:30 and 2:30)! Our tour guide was very knowledgeable, did her best to answer questions and kept the tour to one hour. Overall, it was a very interesting and informative...More

Revelstoke Dam is located a few miles from downtown Revelstoke. We went the day we were leaving Revelstoke, But were too early to go to Visitor Centre. However Dam was an impressive engineering feat, and well worth the drive from Revelstoke.

I visited the Dam Visitor Centre with friends and family. We joined an organised tour which was very informative about the history of the dam and how electricity is generated and then distributed. The exhibition had plenty of activities for young children. Very impressive.

As we approached the dam, we could see masses of water flowing down the overflow channels, and the guy on security asked whether we had come to mend the leak. He told us that overflows like that only happened about once every fifteen years so...More

We really enjoyed our stop here. The tour was very affordable and lasted about a hour. I believe it was around $6 per adult. They view from on top of the dam is very nice as well. They have a cute gift shop with reasonable...More

A great place to spend a couple hours. Fascinating displays and an amazing view from the top. The movie is interesting for a few minutes, but pretty dry unless you're really into dam construction. A few things here to entertain younger kids, but might be...More

You should check to see if you'll even be able to get to the parking lot. I don't think you will. They are pretty strict about security. With that said if you can get anywhere near it you may be amazed at how big it is but... More

I believe there are tours available, I've seen the groups walking around before with guides. There may also be a self guided tour available.
