Meadows in within the National Park, so make sure you have your Park Pass before going. You can buy one at the entry, but it's worth doing in advance. The drive itself is your standard climbing mountain road, limited to 30-50kph due to an abundance...More

This is a national park and a fee is charged, (although 2017 was Canada's Jubilee and national parks were free in 2017.) Looking back, would we still have gone even if we had to pay for it? Yes! Basically, this is a drive up a...More

Drive up the mountain road, walk to the summit, you will not be disappointed. Stunning views and various lengths of walks.

The name of this place alone is enchanting, we had to explore what Meadows in the sky were. We drove up the mountain for about 30 mins, up beautiful winding roads. Overlooking Revelstoke. ( The day we went visibility was poor due to forest fires)...More

We have driven the TransCanada highway from Calgary to the Okanagan countless times and we never before took the time to do this drive. Our mistake. This is a beautiful 25 kilometre drive on a paved two lane road featuring many switchbacks and fabulous pullouts...More

The well maintained road is a series of switchbacks with a few stops for scenic views and the top has trails, a fire watch tower, petroglyphs flowers and nice views.

We drove all across Canada this summer, and this mountain was one of the top three highlights of the entire trip. The drive up is fun and has many great views. But when you get out of the car to hike (or take the free...More

Absolutely beautiful hike through alpine meadows. The views from Eva lake are stunning. Be sure to pack lots of water and some snacks if you're doing any of the full loops.

It's about a half-hour drive on a well paved road with multiple switchbacks that take you to the top of Revelstoke Mountain. There's a variety of trails to walk once you're there, with quite a few that are short 20 to 30 minute loops and...More

I went in October and there were some flowers still in bloom. I'm not too sure about August.

It was not open three weeks ago when we were there. You could call ask the tourist office in Revelstoke but the guy was about as much use as a chocolate watch when we visited.

Because we have had a great deal of snow this year, you may find that even getting up to the 'meadows' this year could be very challenging due to the large amount of snow at that elevation - especially in June.
