We couldn't wait to drive this, although only open up to the 20km mark. It was great, the chap on the park gate was very pleasant. We'd read that sometimes in the morning you could see animals about and was hoping this was true. We...More

Enjoyed the 20km drive up this scenic highway. Too bad snow was still on the ground at the upper levels. Pictures of the meadows in bloom sure look nice - would like to see it in person one day

We were advised at the gate that we couldn't drive to the top but we were buying a 2 day pass for other parks so decided it was worth going part way up. Fantastic views of Revelstoke and the surrounding mountains. Before you get to...More

The girl at the gate told us that we could only go about halfway but, as we have an annual Parks pass we didn't feel ripped-off by having to pay a full entry fee. The drive, so far as we were allowed to go, has...More

Nice little park but we couldn't go beyond the 12km mark due to snow, although there was no sign of it! Couple of excellent spots for overlooking the scenery in the area. Overall a nice diversion but unless the road is fully open I don't...More

Once at the top of the mountain you can appreciate the beautiful panaromic view. Plenty of short hikes on well groomed tracks. It is a long drive up but well worth the effort

We were lucky to see the meadows in full bloom in mid-August last summer. The drive up the mountain offers fabulous panoramic views of Revelstoke but you can also hike your way up (we saw hiking paths) if you are extremely fit and not afraid...More

The road to the top is excellent, with lots of photo stops along the way. The road is lined with wild flowers on either side, and features excellent views of the valley. Plenty of opportunity for hiking here, just remember your water and sunscreen.

We drove to the top and did the hike to Jade Pass. Stunning views and the wildflowers were spectacular.

This is different from the gondola. it is a winding mountain road that takes one by car to the top of the mountain.

Sorry I dont know since I was there in August. There is a great Tourist Information office in the nearby town of Revelstoke. Maybe they can answer your question.

I went in October and there were some flowers still in bloom. I'm not too sure about August.
