Well-organized display of Revy's rich and interesting history. Whether you like to read about it or just view the artifacts, there is plenty to satisfy all visitors to the area.

It was raining so we decided to stop by and check out the museum and ended up staying for about 45 minutes. It is located in the town center close to all the best restaurants and pubs. This small building is packed with many cool artifacts and interesting information. Highly recommended if you have some time while visiting this small... More

The Revelstoke Museum is located in the old Post Office building, and has got nice archives and artifacts from the city since the mining and early railroad days. Skiing and avalanches feature prominently. I didn't realize how long skiing, including serious backcountry, had been a thing here. And after seeing this museum, it seems miraculous to me that anyonecan get... More

The Revelstoke Museum is quite possibly the best museum in the BC Interior, with a great balance of artifacts, images, and interpretation. The new exhibit about avalanches is outstanding and really helps you appreciate the drive through nearby Rogers Pass and Glacier National Park. Don't miss the upstairs, where there is yet more to see. Also, the gift shop has... More

If you are in Revelstoke - it's just off the Trans Canada highway #1 this is well worth the visit. Modest entry fee but well worth it. Great displays and one senses a high degree of civic pride in the museum and the town.

We dropped into this little museum, mostly to check out the gift shop. But the museum itself was quite interesting, showing what Revelstoke was like during the old days. We really liked what the gift shop had to offer, particular with it's retro posters, shirts and patches. Looked for these things everywhere and found them here!

As a museum professional, I have visited many museums. The Revelstoke Museum is one of the best. Excellent exhibits and friendly, helpful staff. Keep up the good work. Always look forward to seeing what Cathy English and her team are doing next.

Very interesting museum right downtown. The building itself is heritage, and the exhibits are set up very well and some are "interactive" ie: an old kitchen that you can browse through. My 6 year old daughter and I loved it. As we are part time residents of Revelstoke the local history is fascinating. Great gift store. And kids under 12... More
