Like most stuff on the island this beach is quite beautiful. Walkways are quite easily accessible and so was the beach. The beach is not too much to look at but when you look at the surroundings you can see why.

When the tide is in, the park offers pleasant walks along the trails and the coastline. When the tide is out, the extensive beach offers chances to investigate tidal pools. I have not stayed at the campground but it is always busy. The Park staff...More

This incredible ocean side provincial park is a travellers dream. When the tide is out the shores are a haven for shell seekers, and explorers of all kinds. Along the shores the majestic eagles overhead can be seen perched in trees, and if your fortunate...More

Simply Spectacular Beaches, Campgrounds, Picnic sites, and Nature walks In the summer the beaches rival anything in Hawaii. Location is spectacular close to Parksville City Limits and adjacent to the great Beach resorts. You will find nothing better anywhere.

I rated 4 stars as there are no flush toilets. There are facilities so don’t let this stop you from enjoying a view of The Georgia Strait, lesqueti Island - passenger ferry access only - and Texada Island and the mainland way in the background....More

The town of Parksville should be proud of this park. The walk ways along the shore and through the park are well kept and clean and the views outstanding. We drove through the campground which was beautiful with ample room and space between campsites

Rabbits everywhere! Spent time watching a couple resident seals poking up and down, while the sun set.

When the tide is out, you can walk out on the sand forever. Lots of sand dollars... shells and of course in the summer....lots of people...

Walked from our hotel along the beach until we reached this park, and it was genuinely beautifully done. Good trails, plenty of benches and picnic tables and toilet facilities spread across Beautiful views all around, and peaceful walks. Very restful

No hook ups. Just a beautiful place to visit. There are a handful of other privately owed sites in the Parksville area that offer hook ups. They also offer a much higher per night price. Book this site early as it will sell... More
