A lovely place to stop on the drive from Nanaimo to Comox - we stopped for lunch and coffee from the cafe, but stayed to wander around the farm and visit the cows/calves too. It’s a cute place, with a great farm shop. Worth stopping by.

This farm is a place that not only will the kids enjoy but adults as well, Watch the robots do the work, enjoy a snack in the Calve Cafe, sample the many chesses they make. Take an empty milk jug or buy one there and get a ltr or two of fresh whole milk. - you will return.

We were visiting friends in Parksville over Christmas and they proudly served us cheese from the Little Qualicum Cheeseworks. We loved it so much they felt compelled to take us to where it is made. This is an interesting self guided walking tour that is great for all members of the family. Naturally we purchased some cheese to take home with us!

This is a small family run cheese making operation. They sell ice cream by the pint, not by the cone. You can bring a clean glass milk bottle and buy fresh milk. They have several varieties of cheese in smaller sizes and sample packs for picnics. There is outdoor seating and ample parking. There is a self guided tour. I didn't end up buying anything, as hubby was really hoping for an ice cream cone. We spent maybe 15 minutes there.

My boyfriend and I visited in the hopes of sampling some cheese and seeing where it comes from. Had a great time looking round the farm and seeing the cows. Very disappointed that the store is only selling full size blocks of cheese and not smaller sizes for those just visiting and wanting to try them. Came away having spent nothing and having eaten no cheese!

It was nice being able to wander around the farm with our dog and see the cows. The scavenger hunt was fun for little ones and being able to sit outside and have some icecream afterwards was the highlight of our visit. We did order a charcuterie box in advance so we would have something to snack on after our visit. While the cheeses were good I think I would just purchase some of the cheeses to take home instead if we were to go back. The milk on tap was definitely a cool feature but there was a big lineup so we didn't get a chance to get any to bring home.

Great place to take young kids or people who have not visited a farm before. Currently set up for a self-guided tour, but few animals to pet when we came (one rabbit in a cage, a few goats). The milking machine and robot where the cows feed were fascinating to watch and learn how automation has evolved on the working farm. Since this is a free place to visit, it's great for kids and adults alike who can spend an hour here and see how cheese is made and buy fresh milk from a dispensing machine. Wish there was more to do and see.

Just on the outskirts of parksville you will find a hidden gem offering two wonderful taste experiences. First the cheese: a great variety with creative names and wonderful flavours. Secondly: the wine. Made from local berries. Combine the two for a lovely experience. This is a working farm. A self tour is offered. At this time the tours and samples are not avail due to the virus concerns. But do go. Great people. Support local. The cheeses are available at some lower mainland farmers markets.

A fun place to take the kids to visit the farm and follow a short scavenger hunt. A very different experience during Covid than when we've visited in the past (no walking tour of the fields, no cheese tasting etc) but still a good way to spend an hour
The self-serve milk dispenser is fun for kids, so take empty bottles.
Cheese selection fairly small but it's good quality

Great place to spend an afternoon. There is a self guided tour around the farm and If you get there on the right day and time you can watch them make the cheese. There is cheese and wine tasting in their store and they have so many delicious kinds of cheese you will find it hard to pick just one.

I would say yes pre covid. There is a walking self guided tour of the farm so the kids can get to see a working farm. I’d call before going to see what you can do now. This is a great place and their dairy products are excellent!!
