My niece and I had a wonderful week at Paradise Fun Park competing at mini golf, dodging spray from the bumper boats, vying for prizes at the arcade and enjoying a refreshing slushy at the Snack Bar. Although all of the employees we encountered were friendly and helpful, one employee, in particular, Sabi, made our week especially memorable! He had such an engaging smile and positive attitude every time we saw him. Sabi went above and beyond to help and serve, instructing us patiently at the bumper boats and cheering us on at the arcade. Interacting with Sabi made our holiday extra special! We hope to see you again next year, Sabi!

We got complimentary tickets via our hotel (coast Parksville), it was very enjoyable. I very well maintained course, lovely atmosphere and great fun for the whole family. There were two courses to play but unfortunately we only had time to complete one. Highly recommend this place for a bit of fun for a couple of hours

We were going in for one month and stayed four! It was excellent. We we’re lucky to be in the first row where you had 50 amps 3-service. The view was superb. Management was very friendly and park kept clean. Laundry room was also kept very clean and prices were very reasonable. Would highly recommend it and would definitely return.

This RV park is quickly going down hill. What used to be a favourite space to camp turned into a dingy dirty place. They have removed all fencing and the gate and in doing so all privacy and security. Cars just fly through and there’s no privacy from the parking lot to RV site. The garbage and recycle has all been removed from the RV park and is now shared bins with the hotel. They were over flowing with filth.
They have added landscaping ties and driveway chip to the sites and what a mess.. The landscape ties are not properly installed with big nail heads sticking out. Total tripping hazard.
The ice machine is now outside of the motel rather than inside so anyone has access. Some of the people staying in the parking lot and rv site cause you to feel concerned for the security of your belongings.
Of course rates are bound to increase but $99 a night from the $65 paid last year is substantial. It’s disappointing.
This place has beautiful beach access however there was dog feces everywhere and I do mean everywhere. The whole path down to the beach as well as the start of the actual beach.
It’s changed owners and I must say it wasn’t for the better. Too bad as this once was a family favourite.

We went to the paradise fun park and it was not fun. Prior to going, it said on their site that there was a cafe with pizza and sandwiches, etc. We planned to eat when we got there for lunch before partaking in the activities because we had little ones who needed to eat. The cafe was only baked goods. I asked about the bumper cars while we were there and they said only 4 were working. While I was asking questions, I mentioned to the worker that we were going to eat and would come back shortly. We left to eat and came back before 2pm. I asked to pay for bumper cars and was told they were closed until 4pm. This would have been great info to have before when I was talking to the worker. We ended up leaving since mini putt was overpriced for what it was. We left disappointed.

Used to be the best place in Parksville to mini golf. However, since it got new owners it has become very unkept and overgrown. Lobby is now lifeless and dull and looks half put together. Mini golf courses are worn down and the price the website said ($14 for one course), was presented to us as $18.50 for one course for an adult. Riptide Lagoon it’ll be until someone fixes this place up!

Wife and 7 pound puppy were attacked, puppy was killed and wife was bitten severely by a Pit Bull staying in the small very expensive RV Park. The parks negligence in not letting guests know that 100 pound plus Pit Bull was staying in the park is unforgivable. Hundreds of small children come to the Fun park and RV park to play and should feel safe as well as Adults and Pets.

This is a review of the RV Park attached to and part of Paradise Fun Park. Paradise RV Park used to be one of the top if not the top RV park on Vancouver Island but alas no longer, since new ownership it has turned into a ghetto. I do not write this review lightly because we loved that place. Now the lawns are not mowed and in some cases are almost knee deep grass, the once pristine flower gardens are all weeds. It appears if it has for the most part a long term trailer park filled with decrepit tarped down old RV's. The water was throttled down to a trickle and I did not even try to have a shower in my RV, we could hardly wait to leave. When we checked out one of the staff came up to our RV as we were hooked up and leaving with a clip board in her hand and said"check out is at 11 AM, it was not even 11 but I am sure if we had not been ready to leave she would have tried to charge us for another day. I am so disappointed, I will never go back until Paradise RV Park is sold to new owners that clean it up. I am adding photos, the first is what it used to look like and the others were taken several days ago. This breaks our hearts, we have so many great memories from the more then 30 years that we have been camping here.

I’m not sure if we visited in July or June it doesn’t matter it’s not going to change the rudness and complete disregard for their clients that the two owners of this place have. You are treated like crap from the minute you enter the premises
Clear sign that says seniors discount. The girl was standing in front of it as she rang in our order . My husband asked her For the discount and was Informed that they don’t give refunds. He said even though I didn’t see it till now she said yes that’s right no refunds management says. Don’t waste your money go somewhere else I’m surprised this place is still open for business. The way they treat their staff is totally disgusting and they have no qualms about doing it right in front of the public so I can only imagine how they treat them behind the scenes

The new owners have really let the mini golf grounds go. A lot! Paradise used to be well maintained with beautiful plants all over, but all of the plants are dead or dying and weeds are everywhere. Not to mention the huge increase in cost. I’ll give my business to Riptide Lagoon who keep a clean, well maintained and well priced mini golf course in Parksville.

why is the owner (the middle aged italian man) so rude to both employees and customers? have been coming here for years, and have witnessed multiple times him yelling and berating his high school/university aged staff. I feel sorry for anyone who works here. Don't ever come here, your money just goes to his booze fund............

Is there a general admission fee or you pay just for activities as you go?
Written 29 June 2017
You pay for the golf (two courses to choose from). Other activities are all pay as you go!

I am unsure as I have only been camping when I was younger. I would write their site or call to make sure bc it might change seasonally due to the amount of traffic. Sorry I wish I could be of more help

I thought this place was torn down to make way for the beach club resort almost 2 years ago. How did I miss this?

Beach Club replaced the old Island Hall resort. This place is further down the highway.
