This park has something for everyone. The boardwalk with the labyrinth at one end is always popular. The views are stunning. The park itself has many venues for sporting activities, skate boarding, curling, tennis, baseball, children's area etc. It is also the site of the famous Sandcastle Competition in the summer.

This was highly recommended to us by a friend who had just spent a whole day hanging out there! And we could see why - so many options of things to do that the 4 year old just stood at the edge and gazed, unsure of where to start first! We spent a few hours, it was too cold and... More

Beach side park in the central area of Parksville. Nice big beach with long board walk or walk on the sand. Large modern kids playground and mid-sized kids splash park (free admission). New building with nice washrooms, change rooms, outdoor shower to rinse off and water bottle filling station. Lots of picnic tables, benches, grass areas and trees for a... More

This park always give you great access to the beach no matter what the weather. Rain or wind make no difference because the car parking spaces down by the beach are great for all abilities. Walk to the sand if the weather allows but that does change the view.

This is a beautiful park in every season with a kilometre long walk along a very special beach, the best kids' playground I know, a super skate/bike park, tennis courts, ball fields and a popular curling rink. It's a perfect place to visit the beach along eastern Vancouver Island or just have a picnic in the shade of the trees... More

This is a great place to go for a walk, any time we stay in Parksville we take an evening stroll on the path and boardwalk that curves along the beach, peak season it can be busy but not crowded in the off season you can almost have it to yourself. In the summer you can swim when the tide... More

Lovely flat sands for a nice easy walk along the front... Has the benefit of travelling coffee/food shop on site as well as public conveniences. Ideal place for blowing the cobwebs out and just enjoying the views

This is a park that the whole family can enjoy boasting what my daughter has called the best park for children she has ever been too. Right next to the swings etc. there is a water park to keep them cool and food vendors to keep them fed. The boardwalk is a lovely stroll or a short run depending on... More

What a wonderful park in the heart of Parksville. A boardwalk skirts the beach along the water Great playground for children. In the summer the sand castle competition is here as well. Bathroom facilities as well.
