Little Qualicum Falls Provincial Park straddles the scenic Little Qualicum River, west of Parksville, where impressive waterfalls cascade and plummet down a rocky gorge in a beautiful forest setting. Perhaps the most magnificent park on Vancouver Island, Little Qualicum Falls incorporates the entire southern shore of Cameron Lake, adjacent to MacMillan Provincial Park and the awesome Cathedral Grove Rainforest. Cameron Lake is bordered by steep mountains: Mt. Wesley to the north and Mt. Arrowsmith to the south.

Need to have a railing and better steps. Not good for people with a handicapp. But once down the falls are beautiful.

Fantastic walking trails along the water and into the forests. The walk to the falls is easy, signposted well and definitely family friendly. Plenty of parking too. If you're feeling adventurous head off the beaten path. By no means busy, we splashed in the river...More

A nice stop to take a walk and get some great pictures. Many people struggled with little signage but it is an easy spot to get to the destination. Worth the stop

Great falls at both upper and lower area. Easy trails for beginner travellers. Lots of rest stops to view streams and falls.

This campground seemed much quieter than nearby Rathtrevor Beach Provincial Park. The trail from the campground to the falls was a very nice walk through lush forest and had a few places to dip in the water (signs recommended otherwise in several locations.)

Worth the walk, this multitiered falls has cut a gorge through the limestone that is breathtaking. Moss laden banks and stately trees dominate the sheer cliffs above the river - worth the walk to see nature's handy work.

To the west of Parksville is this pristine park encompassing rivers, gorges, waterfalls, and forest treks. It's a great opportunity to be in a secluded, protected area that is not overrun with people and litter. It looks very natural and untouched. Overturned tree trunks offer...More
