A great place to take a walk or swim. On the Riverwalk pathway system as well as a stop on the old time trolley that still runs in Nelson.

Lakeside park has it all. Wonderful grassy area to picnic. Fun kiddies playground. A little area to order food and icecream. Beautiful flowers and gardens. A beach and the Kootenay Lake to swim in. Very beautiful, scenic park.

Runs right through from the Orange Bridge to the Prestige Hotel so right by the Walmart parking area, I think it is 2$, great fun by the way and a good way to see the whole front of Nelson, get off at Prestige, take a walk... More
