The Othello Tunnels are amazing! The tunnels themselves are unreal, but the mountains, rocks and water all around are breathtaking! We took our 14 month old and he loved it. I carried him in his carrier through the tunnels but once we were through them...More

We ate lunch at the home cooking rest. It was fabulous . Then hit the rolling pin bakery. It was great. Then we went to the tunnels. It was a good history lesson with beautiful views. Nice easy walk. Going back for sure.

It's a great place to go for a walk, just outside of Hope. The history of the tunnels and rail lines is very interesting. The scenery through the canyons is gorgeous

Its beautiful nice place to walk the views are reluctant with water flowing in the stream. We love to go back there if we have another chance to come back.

Amazing place. Some of the tunnels were quite dark so have someone to hold on to or take a torch. Well worth a visit

The tunnels are open everyday from during daylight hours. Bike friendly but a nice easy walk wide path suitable for wheel chair scooters. Very busy in the summer but worth the visit. Great place on a rainy day too!

This place was a big surprise. I think the crew was a bit down on this one and the stop was probably an hour each way out of the way to the tunnels. Really glad we made this stop, though, because it was pretty amazing....More

The tunnels are 'officially' closed for the winter (not sure of the exact months) but if you're adventurous, the left side of the first gate has a fairly easy climb around (done it).

Yes this is a gentle walk, the terrain can be a bit rough just loose gravel, probably easier with a stroller than a regular wheelchair... it is also quite dark in one of the tunnels!
