Took the gondola up on the May long weekend for some sightseeing. It was an expensive attraction ($40), but the views are absolutely incredible both from the gondola and from the top. The gondola ride is smooth, fast and comfortable for up to 8 people....More

The snow is excellent when conditions are just right, lots of good terrain for intermediate/advanced ski/boarders. If conditions were equal I’d personally head somewhere smaller and with less hype to avoid the ridiculous price hikes in lift tickets and get the same ski experience. KHMR...More

This is one awesome ski hill. The snow is terrific, the bowls are north facing and preserve the snow, especially up top. The Gondola protects the skiers from the elements and allows for 4,000 vertical feet each lap. 95% of the time the resort is...More

Skied with four friends Apr.10, 2018. My first time at Kicking Horse. Big mountain but mostly Black runs. Well maintained but a hour away at Lake Louise the skiing is 10/10. I would not return. Sorry

The mountain is very picturesque and the runs are super steep. This is not really great for beginners. But there is a gondola that takes you to the very top and a nice restaurant. So if you don't ski well, you can at least enjoy...More

The two extremes of ski levels may appreciate this hill more than those in the middle. The bowls and steeps are amazing here and the beginner chair at the bottom will provide enough to interest the beginners. The blue skiers however end up doing a...More

This resort is pretty great, it was my first time going and I cannot wait to go back. The gondola is fairly quick compared to other mountains (like sunshine). The downside is the lack of high speed chairs. Some of those rides feel SUPER slow....More

We had 3 days here and really enjoyed the whole experience. The lift staff were very friendly and the resort appealed to locals more so than tourists from overseas. None of the crowds and stress of French resorts. The snow was good and piste conditions...More
