Wow, this has changed in the last several years. Last time I was there it was a bit lame. NOW, it's awesome! It reminds me of the Victoria Provincial Museum. If you haven't been for a while go see our history and a replica of the old Willows Hotel lobby.

This is one of the best local museums I have ever seen. Lots of great displays with many artifacts depicting the fishing and logging industry along with the general history of the area. Very professionally put together. Also sells authentic local native art in the gift shop at great prices. If you go to Campbell River, you must go here!

Looking for something to do on another rainy Campbell River day? Look no further then! I really enjoyed the displays and short movie. The gift shop surprised me and I was able to grab a few nice items from there as Christmas gifts

For a smaller museum, this is excellent. There are several areas where the children can actually touch/use things. We had people from age 5 up to age 72 in our group and all had fun.

Logging, fishing, pulpmill and tourism. A visit to this small but impressive museum is a must! It will give you a very good idea of what the town has gone through to get where it is today. Locals display there personal art and craft from wood and silver. Actual steam donkeys and fishing trollers are on display outside to bring out those... More
