The waffle cones are individually hand made on site by the staff. Fishing, at certain times can be excellent. They are well known for their food , fish and chips, wraps, and burgers , mornings feature freshly made muffins, and of course coffee. Great spot to watch the cruise ships as they transit the passage.

While visiting Campbell River our family frequented the pier. It was a lively stroll, look out at the boats, cruise ships passing by, chat to the local fisherman (need a license) and enjoy some quiet time while enjoying an enormous Baby Cone ice cream. We have created fond memories. Wish we had something similar to stroll and relax on where... More

The pier is mentioned a lot of places and seems to generate some enthusiasm so we stopped. There's a fishing pier and a spot to purchase bait, rent tackle or get a limited selection of food. When I was there, one person was fishing but he stopped a few minutes after we arrived. Unless you want to fish from a... More

Great idea for families to fish but they fail to mention on their brochures and on the phone that you need a fishing license. So just want to say that before anyone heads there to be prepared. Some work on telephone etiquette would be nice as well.

This fishing pier is over 180m in length and during summer weekends it's often very crowded with fisherpersons. Despite the numbers of optimistic souls casting in three directions, I'm yet to see a salmon caught* from this excellent fishing platform(!) Having fished piers, jetties and wharves all over the world, I'm happy to (re)affirm that this well-equipped structure is the... More

Nice place to sit and relax. Watch people fishing and boats - or even cruise ships - pass by. Maybe not the most incredible pier in the world but good on a sunny afternoon.

I am not in the habit of reviewing piers, but writing a review will elevate me to another level of attraction expertness, which i cannot resist. And, to be honest, we visited this pier and many people have felt the impulse to share their experiences regarding the same visit. So why not add number 3456? It is a pier, that... More

I don't think our experience is a reflection on the pier itself but let me tell you.......as we approached the pier, a seeing eye dog ran past us and up the pier. Well you would think it was a bloody lion the way some people started freaking out. An old lady ran up to my family carrying on about "... More

I really enjoy going to the pier but the food is terrible!!! They search some fast food and ice cream which sounds attractive but I saw them preparing the raw shrimp on the same counter space as the other food without cleaning it. Also, the ice cream you get from them is melting before you can even finish paying. The... More
