Small group tour led by Leigh who was friendly, knowledgeable and so respectful of the Bute Inlet area we were to visit and of Homalco First Nation partnership making this tour possible. Just an unforgettably fantastic day - 14 bears feasting on salmon, also shown absolute respect (for good reason), and a pod of Orca on the return trip that... More

Our second grizzly bear trip from Campbell River in 5 years didn't disappoint. Our guide, Leigh, was very informative and we were lucky enough to see 10 grizzly bears including 3 cubs. The day was incredible and it was capped off on the way back to Campbell River when we encountered a Humpback Whale off Quadra Island. One of the... More

This trip was a small group (8 people), with 3 guides (1 Adventure Quest, 2 Homalco First Nation), and it was outstanding. The Adventure Quest guide who organized the trip was entertaining and informative all day long-- a truly funny guy! The Homalco guides added indispensable local knowledge, wisdom, and interesting stories. We saw 7-8 bears, including two females with... More

We had an unforgettable trip to the Bute Inlet, guided by Captain Leigh. He has an informed, respectful attitude towards nature and takes the time to share his considerable knowledge with his customers. While the weather was raining on-and-off, his heated, covered boat was warm and comfortable. A much better way to see the sights than the zodiac tours that... More

Went for an early season grizzly tour. The bears weren't cooperating and mainly stayed away, but Capt. Leigh did everything in his power to make for a good tour and went out of his way on the trip back to find a pod of orcas.

All the reviews speak for themselves. Leigh is awesome, the journey is awesome, Bute Inlet is awesome, and the wildlife is ridicullously epic! I simply can't reccommend this experience enough. Book a trip of a lifetime you won't regret it and one other bonus with Leigh is tat his boat has a cabin to keep all nice and warm during... More

Leigh has everything that it takes to provide a once in a life time experience. He has a cordial relationship, based on mutual respect, with the Homolka nation who live in the remote part of Bute Inlet where you go to see the feeding Grizzlies. He makes the best use of the two hour journey each way. We saw Orca... More

Although we thought twice about the cost of this tour we are so glad we decided to go as it proved exceptional value for money. Our host, Lee, gave us great information about the wildlife on the trip over which in itself is one of the best inside passage voyages you are likely to have. The boat was fully enclosed,... More

One of the people taking the trip was very late as his taxi couldnt find it - saw him the next day leaving our hotel, only a few minutes walk away. The water was choppy and it was a rough crossing, I suspect because they were trying to make up lost time. Had a quick but good wrap lunch and... More
