BVM is fun place to spend a couple of hours even with really young kids. The history is always interesting and the carrousel is always a hit. Changes themes with the seasons so great all year round

You must visit atleast once. Can't go wrong with it esp if you want to see the olden days living style & some interesting facts of those days.

I've taken students and children in the family to the museum over the years, and while it's a great little attraction, it's lacking in some depth. Perhaps it was time of year, I'm not sure...there's not a whole lot going on there during the summer.More

If you do nothing else here, try the carousel. It is the fastest in the world, with horses and other animals that go up and down and spin a fast clip. Our two year old loved it!!

Great interpretive museum showcasing Burnaby's history. Excellent detail, and the highlight is the restored vintage carousel. The museum is free, and even on a Sunday in August did not feel crowded.
