I view this park as more of a nice local neighbourhood park; however, come summertime, it is frequent by tourists and other people from the Lower Mainland, especially during Volleyball time. There are a number of picnic areas, golf, walks, a small lake with ducks to feed, tons of squirrels, tennis courts and quiet.

You get off at Patterson Station & within a few metres, you have access to some very beautiful forest, with meandering paths. Well-marked for joggers. They also have a sports complex & pretty extensive playground, for the young ones. The forest is old growth & it's nice to see that preserved, in a largely urban area. Lots of birds &... More

I live near the very beautiful Central Park in Burnaby, B.C. and often walk on the shady forest pathways. I enjoy watching the many types of ducks that live on the ponds. Around the mini golf course are beautiful floral displays and cherry blossom trees.

Great walking paths through the woods. There is a good playground at the north end of the park. A large duck pond in the south.

Central Park is filled with giant cedars, lively squirrels, a pond of ducks, several playgrounds, and picnic areas. It contains flat, well-groomed, wide dirt paths (no potholes or mud) that are great for a leisurely stroll with out-of-town elderly guests or children. Bring sunflower seeds for the ducks and squirrels. There is ample parking. If taking public-transit I recommend the... More

I like having natural green spaces in urban centres and Central Park fits the bill. I used to live nearby and frequently walked or jogged around its several pathways. Good pitch and putt too

A perfect place to walk, jog or cycling. This park has many activities to offer all year around. What a treat for residents that lived nearby. Parking is available and so is public transportation.
