We realized a childhood dream on that sunny afternoon when we sailed to the bay of Fundy. Not only did we get to see whales up close, but they were North Atlantic ''right'' whales, very rare as there are now only a few hundreds specimen left in the world ! We also saw porpoises and fin back whales ! We... More

We were very fortunate to see 4 finback whales. They put on a good "show" and the captain did a great job of staying close without crowding the whales. We also got to see some seals on the way out. Island Quest is very organized and their web site provided a good explanation and set expectations appropriately. We got a... More

Island Quest is one of the best tours. The Captain (Chris) and the two biological on board were very informative about the whales we seen. Nicole and Dean, the biologist on board, were very kind, hard working, smart, and dedicated to making sure everybody learned some information on the whales. Also on things we seen on our boat such as... More

Took a large group of people for a whale watching cruise. The crew and captain told us a lot about the area and various points of interest. The people make a big difference with this company...knowledgeable, friendly, locals who know what they are doing. Once we got out in the water, they were able to interpret the whales behaviour and... More

This was a great whale watching experience. Left the dock at 1:30pm, returned at 4:30pm. Island Quest is a local, family owned and operated business. The captain is the father with on board marine biologist daughter and guide. They were patient and very informative. Cameras a must. Served crackers, smoked salmon and iced tea on the way back. Boat takes... More

The island quest marine company is the most professional whale watching tour we have been on. From the moment we called, Nicole was pleasant and professional. On board the entire crew was so helpful and knowledgeable. They put everyone at ease. The weather was amazing and we saw Eagles, seals, minke whales and razor back whales. Nicole has an amazing... We headed for the east coast for our honeymoon. On our way back home to Ontario we stopped in to St Andrews and decided to head out with Island Quest marine whale and wildlife cruises for a whale watching adventure. So glad we did. We saw a bunch of whale, seals, porpoises and bald eagles. Staff was extremely friendly and told us... More
