Milner Gardens has the most beautiful light display in their gardens in December. Every year is different and every year is a work of art made with love. If you are here in the summer the gardens are lovely to walk through and there is a tearoom where high tea is served every day. Delightful! You can purchase plants and... More

Make sure you walk all of the paths at Milner Gardens. There are gigantic Douglas Fir, one in particular where the visitor's vantage point is 1/3 the way up the tree, yes you will be awestruck at it's age and height. Most tree and shrubs are labeled which is always nice especially if you are lucky to have been at... More

A delightful garden in the community of Qualicum. Known mainly for the Rhododendrons when in bloom it represents a true woodland garden. There is a quaint gift shop and a tea house on the property that offers a sense of a bygone era. A small nursery to purchase many of the plants that you see in the garden plus a... More

Love the gardens at any time of the year. Place of quietness and beauty. I visit frequently. Around every corner and overtime one sees something different...fall colour and the rustling of the leaves as they drift down, winter magic, spring blossoms, birds chirping, and the the masses of rhododendron blooms.

I love this garden, now managed by Vancouver Island University and staffed by loyal volunteers. The house and tea room are delightful; the plant nursery has some great deals; and the walk through the forest to get to the house is wonderful. There is a golf cart service for those who can't walk.

Visited at the end of summer a week before they fall prices. There wasn't much is bloom but it was still beautiful. The tea house is very nice and cozy and the service there is amazing. The scones are delicious.

Interesting walk through woodland to a garden centre and shop staffed by knowledgeable volunteers. The gardens surrounding the house were probably at their best in spring although pleasant to stroll around. The house was interesting too with nice tearooms

Was a very nice garden to visit . Enjoyed our afternoon tea in the historic Milner House. The rice pudding was excellent reminded me of desserts made by my Mom and Grandmother. Just the right amount of raisons and cream. Nice guest book the pages were turned to Queen Elizabeth and lady Diana's signatures. The forest walk was very peaceful.

This was a nice visit (about $11). We walked along the east trail to the house and restaurant. My friends had a nice dessert. (about $8.) The coffee ($3) was good. The setting was nice. The house was interesting to view. We walked along the west trail to exit.

A visiting friend and I spent a couple of hours wandering around the garden in July. There were not a huge number of plants in flower, however, it was very peaceful, the house was lovely and the bench situated on the lawn was a wonderful place to sit and take in the fantastic view of the Georgia Strait. Well worth... More
