David and Laurie were great hosts! Being on the senior citizen side we were worried I'd would be to strenuous We had a brief lesson and we were off, beautiful day and lovely weather! They have warm weather clothes if you feel the need; coats, boots, gloves, hats! The team led us in their sled, got to visit kennels and... More

Hi, Forest after snow plus 6 lovely dogs make this sport like a fairytale! All dogs are friendly, smart and playful. I suggest tourists take at least 3 hours package, and wear much as you can... I gave 4 stars for this company, because I feel not comfortable as a non French speaker! I came in around 8:35am, then I... More

This is a bucket list MUST! I felt like the hero of a dog sledding adventure movie as we learned to drive a pack of rambunctious pups through a Narnia-like forrest. Be ready to be challenged as much as charmed by this thrilling ride. They provide warm clothing, shoes, etc. I highly recommend gearing up! It can get cold and... More

A New Years Day treat! The entire family were looking forward to this throughout our trip. It was well worth it and a must do at least once. The dogs and their trainer and our guide were just fantastic. We did a full hour ride, and it took us just 5 minutes of instructions to be on our way. One... More

I am not a big fan of dogs, but I thoroughly enjoyed the three hour dog sledding experience at Chenil La Poursuite. My 6-year-old loved the petting the dogs and talking to them (even though one peed on him) and my 16-year-old had a great time driving the dog sled. I was concerned that driving the sled could be difficult,... More

Courteous, knowledgable guides give a brief instruction on steering and braking the dog sled, then you're off for 3 hrs. (1/2 day) through woods and fields, watching the antics of your sled dogs. Sometimes it's a real workout as you help push or run behind the sled. There is a stop at a teepee to warm up at the stove... More

When I pictured dog sledding, I was worried that it was about 45KM/hr flying across a deserted field out in the open by myself. The reality is a really fun experience, where you are sledding at a good speed, but not too fast at all. And you are going through forested areas with a well defined path, so the dogs... More

Wow - this was so much fun! Our family all thought that this was the best thing that we did on our overseas holiday (closely followed by the toboggan ride on Dufferin Terrace outside the Chateau Frontenac in Quebec City). And that's saying something because we visited some pretty cool places in New York, Washington, Toronto and Montreal. The first... More

I must echo the sentiments of my fellow Trip Advisor members that this is a positively unforgettable experience. I wasn't sure quite what to think when my boyfriend booked it, but I absolutely loved it. A couple of important points though - #1 - you must absolutely love dogs. I know this seems a bit counterintuitive, but it is not... More
