During a trip to Quebec City, an amazing day out at the Canyon...

During a trip to Quebec City, an amazing day out at the Canyon Sainte-Anne's gorge with its imposing waterfall and 3 suspension bridges is a must-do family attraction. Get into a spectacular and vertiginous canyon. Listen to the roaring of the majestic Sainte-Anne falls (74m high) between its narrow 1.2-Billion-year-old rocky cliffs. Vibrate while walking across our 3 suspension bridge. One is 60m (243') high over the gorge!Discover Giant potholes and cascades in the Mini-Canyon, along with the challenging Stone Stories Treasure Hunt with all family members. Be thrilled by our 3 vias ferratas and our 2 giant zip lines.Canyon Ste-Anne is well located, only 30 minutes from Quebec City, towards the Montmorency falls, and only 5 minutes from the Sainte-Anne-de-Beaupre Shrine and the Mont Sainte-Anne ski resort. The entrance is situated directly on Route 138 East, towards Charlevoix, the Le Massif ski resort, and the whale watching cruise area.

I didn’t expect this attraction to be so attractive, thanks to its beautiful waterfalls. Wow! It’s truly amazing. The water of Sainte-Anne-du-Nord River has chiseled the rocks into a steeped-sided gorge. The river eventually drops 74 meters deep. When we arrived, we saw some rapids, with lots of stones in the river. After that we saw a gorgeous waterfall, the... More

Very well marked and sign posted trails around the waterfalls and across several bridges. As might be expected, lots of stairs to climb if you descend to the bottom of the falls, but well worth it. It does not require long to see the falls, so this can easily be done in half a day including travel time from Quebec... More

I have visited Canyon Sainte-Anne twice and was really looking forward to my kids and husband seeing it as well. Because we were there during Fall, the colors were stunning and the weather was cool - perfect for walking around. While the bridges look unassuming, they can be quite nerve wracking to some people (my 8yo!!). They move around quite... More

What glorious colors. Complemented by roaring waterfalls carving gorges thru the ancient rock. They've well marked walking trails with numerous lookout points that are perfect for you photographers. They also have a zip line as well as rappelling available for a fee. A wonderful walk thru nature. Most enjoyable.

Lovely walk to see beautiful falls at Canyon Sainte Anne. The trees were turning and the area was just beautiful with color. There were also statues of animals - bear, moose, woodpecker that were accessible and made for super photo opportunities. We did not have children in our party but the children in the park seemed excited by the animals... More

Do not miss this attraction. You'll do a lot of walking (up and down) plus traverse a couple of swinging bridges, but the sights! Fantastic and worth all the huffing and puffing. A well maintained attraction just a few kilometers from Quebec City - do not miss.

The Canyon SainteAnne contains a magnificent waterfall that makes it a "must-see" attraction in the Quebec City area. They have rappelling and zip lining for the very adventurous. The waterfall is "drop dead gorgeous" and definitely worth seeing.

We went on a rainy morning, but were still able to enjoy the views. The paths are easy to traverse and are paved. Also, there are platforms from which to see the gorge. Unlike Montmorency falls, this site is somewhat isolated; so you can get a better sense of it in a natural surrounding. Although the falls are supposed to... More
