There is no better way to experience the spectacular sites and atmosphere of Lunenburg's historic streetscapes and working waterfront than on foot. Lunenburg Walking Tours was created to offer visitors to our UNESCO World Heritage Site town - one of only two such urban sites in North America - an educational and entertaining directed walk through history. Co-Owners Shelah Allen and Ashlee Feener, both descendants from original founding families, bring authenticity, accuracy, and levity, all woven into great stories, to your outing. Tours are at a gentle pace, vary in length depending on the tour, go rain or shine, and require a reservation by phone/text or email.

Not too hard to walk. Great to learn history of the city and see it in the homes and buildings. Anglican church was super. But the co owner guide was one of the best ever

We were lucky enough to have Ralph, Lunenburg's Encyclopedia, as our guide. The man knows more about architectural details and the history of the area than anyone else around. He should as his family arrived with the earliest group of settlers. The walk took about...More

Fantastic walking tour of Lunenburg. Covered history, folklore, architecture and so much more. The personal story of our eighth generation Lunenburg guide was a real plus! Highly recommended.

Great way to learn about Lunenburg and it's history. Very knowledgeable guide who told us about residents, houses and churches. We even went into a couple of churches. It was a great start to our visit and helped us appreciate more about the town.
