We were able to board the Bluenose 11 but there was about a 40 mph wind coming off the harbour so we didn't sail.It was a nice tour. I don't know much about sailing so most of what they said went over my head.

Although I was not able to sail this trip I enjoyed visiting tied up at Lunenburg wharf. I have sailed on it twice before. Ship has been refurbished. Crew are very friendly and knowledgeable. Look forward to getting to sail on it again soon.

I had a lovely little tour of this second Bluenose while in Baddeck, Nova Scotia. Boat has undergone a fabulous refurbishment and is a most interesting attraction.

I think there was a cruise available but we didn't take that. For us the "Bluenose II" was an exhibition of a big boat with a lot of explanatory panels and pictures around it. Strolling along the beautiful waterfront at Lunenburg, we came across a...More

After learning about it at the museum, it now has some meaning for me, but other than that, it didn't impress me too much.

Enough people have given you dimensions. What I could add about Bluenose is I think it's very valuable to know the history of the original Bluenose before you take your trip as it will help you to appreciate why the folks of... More
