Ironworks Distillery opened its doors to the public in June 2010. Situated in the old town of Lunenburg and residing in the building that used to be the old marine blacksmith shop, we create small batches of artisan spirits using produce from the Maritimes. We make vodka and brandy using Annapolis Valley apples, Pear Eau-de-vie, Rum, Gin and several delicious fruit liqueurs. Tastings are free. Tours are available.

Very friendly staff, knowledgable and helpful! We tasted several of their products, and it was hard to choose what to buy! We decided on a delicious Grappa, very hard to find in craft distilleries! Thanks for the great visit!

We had a Distillery tour conducted by Liam, and it was wonderful. He is full of knowledge, the building is full of history, and the products were fantastic. So nice to see a local business thriving and producing quality products!

We happened upon this while exploring town-wonderful historical and beautiful buildings, views of water, lots to see. The business is housed in an old ironworks and uses the room and site very handsomely. The tour was over for the day but we could see the...More
