We are one of the oldest boat tour operators in Nova Scotia. Our three-hour tours include a variety of activities depending on the route and weather conditions. We don't always see whales but you will have an exceptional family outing. You will discover and can photograph Old Town Lunenburg from the water, see miles of rugged Nova Scotia coastline and observe and hear the rush of waves plunging ancient sea caves. We pass iconic lighthouses, stop briefly near Pearl Island (one of the few colonies of Puffins in the province) and often see dolphins, a variety of seabirds, leatherback turtles, sunfish, harbour seals and other marine species. As for whale watching, the variety of species we see is impressive. There are Fin Whales, Minke Whales and Humpbacks. And on very special occasions (and with a bit of luck) we have seen rare species, like the great Blue Whale, the largest whale (and animal) on earth.

Only saw the one whale but plenty of seals and dolphins. Great staff on the boat and trip time was ideal, not too long with young kids. Lunenburg a very picturesque place to journey from, and the boat trip includes a bit of a history...More

First hand experience was simple. I emailed them on their site for specific information and they haven't responded. Makes me sure that when I visit later this month I won't be using them. Already connected with another option that went out of their way to...More

Was a beautiful day, the tour was as described in terms of duration however unfortunately no whales were observed on our trip (which we knew was a gamble). There was probably 30 people or so on the boat which was operated by two people, one...More

We went on this boat this past week. The boat has plenty of seats, a bathroom and drinks available. There are open seats in the rear of the boat and protected seats near the front. The trip takes a large loop out of the harbor...More

Terrible customer service, the worst whale watching trip I've ever been on. Office customer service was terrible, they called me and changed the time on me and said to be there for 3pm, I was there early and she told me good thing I made...More

It's a gamble to go whale watching, that's how it is. Our frustration lies in poor management of this business. We made a reservation by phone for a 1230 tour. When we called to confirm what time we should be at the dock, we were...More

For 140$ for two people, I'd recommend spending the money on a nice restaurant in the area and enjoying the view or another activity. The 3 hour "boat ride" was cold and miserable. The sea was very choppy and all we saw were seals and...More

We pre-booked and we're told that we had to be there half an hour early. Clearly this wasn't the company's real policy since it actually waited on late people, and had us turn back around just as we were outside of the harbour to pick...More

Tips: Wear sneakers for a good grip and light summer clothes with a light sweater you can throw on if the sea breeze gives you a chill. Shorts and a t-shirt are absolutely sufficient. Bring a hat and sunscreen. Also, highly suggest binoculars and/or ultra...More

Yes it was a foggy day and yes, you cannot control whales like puppets to perform for a crowd, we get that. I guess what was most disappointing about the tour was the missed opportunity. We learned little of Lunenberg despite its history, or the...More
