Great day on the ocean. The weather couldn't have been better - the crew were gracious hosts and very knowledgeable about the area. This is a must if you visit this wonderful town!

It was a great day for sailing - winds blowing about 20 km/h out of the west and plenty of sun for the views. However, getting back into harbour was tricky as it was directly into the wind. This made for a lot of tacking but also had the advantage of allowing plenty of time for all interested to handle... More

I would highly recommend this trip!! The tour takes you on a 2 hour sale of the Lunenburg bay area. If you wish you can steer or hoist sails but I was enjoying the view of the local area. The crew was friendly and answered any questions we had about local landmarks. It was well worth the money in my... More

It was really worth to see. How the fishing tradition has carried on for years and how the water front basically hasn't changed.

The tour took 2 hours in the Lunenburg bay only. Nothing exciting. The crew were careless and rude. Regretted for giving up a lobster dinner for it.

It was a perfect day for sailling when my wife and I went on board. I was thinking that 2 hours would be a long time, but it went by pretty quick. Very relaxing and enjoyed it a lot. We went on 4 p.m. sailing. I would do it again if I was in the area and would totally recommmend... More

Sailed on the Eastern Star on a 4pm sail, for 2 hours. The scenic view was beautiful. My husband and I enjoyed it, and the captain Darryl was very friendly and informative. We would highly recommend this, and we loved the town of lunenburg.

It was amazing. Beyond my expectations. The crew was great. Very informative. We were out 1.5hrs. Watched the crew hoist sales by hand and tack. I would do this again in a heart beat.

Sailing on the Bluenose 11 was the definite highlight of our trip. A spectacular Fall day, clear, and sunny for our morning 2-hour cruise. Fascinating experience ! Well maintained. Chatted with the helpful and informative crew. board. Highly recommended.
