An amazing location, beautiful. The locals are really warm and friendly, so much to see and do. Definitely see the Bears up close and personal at Atnarko River, also the Odegaard falls and definitely the amazing Petroglyph tour. Loads more to do but we ran out of time!

I have eaten here a number of times, and you never know what you are going to get quality or service-wise. The Korean menu is quite interesting. You can't get breakfast, though. Fish comes pre-battered, so no GF option for that. I asked for ice cream - not available. My companion's cheese cake was out of a box by the... More

Well we saw the grizzled and now we are enjoying the valley. Worth the trip down the hill for! If you need to ask you haven't done the hill yet 😲

Great hiking, boating, fishing, wildlife, friendly locals. The one hour flight from Vancouver provided incredible views of the Coast Mountains.

Having visited this amazing place several times it truly is a gem. The coastal mountains are awesome and pretty much line the valley from when you first start off headed down through the Heckman Pass. On our last trip to Bella Coola we saw a couple of bears. There are some very special places to visit and see in our... More

We got the BC ferry from Port Hardy on Vancouver island to Bella Coola changing ferries at Bella Bella. The trip to Bella Coola is so beautiful. We saw dolphins and humpback whales on the way. The Bella Coola valley is quiet and peaceful. Take some books and walking boots. Many of the trail drives need a 4x4. The drive... More

It rained every day while i was there. But there is so much to see. A walk along the water's edge was spectacular. Moss grew like thick fur everywhere. Eagles and hawks flew overhead ... There's an old cannery building about a 15 minute drive from town. Very haunting and peaceful.

We spent a few days in and around Bella Coola nad Tweedsmuir Provincial Park and it was amazing. Lots of walking to do amongst increadible surroundings, with wildlife everywhere - we saw black bears, bald eagles, deer and even a feeding humpaback! Well worth the visit, even if driving out here as we did and 'The Hill' is an experience... More

Spent a week in the valley in late fall spotting grizzlies, bald eagles and other wildlife. Fantastic place to unwind and get upclose to nature and Nuxalk culture

For nature lovers, this is a must to but on your bucket list. Hiking quading 4 wheel driving it is all at your finger tips. Went in the off season and was still treated like a queen by Tour companies. Bear watching at its best in the fall colours.
