I love this place and this was my third visit (first two times we lived in Germany). It is an open air collection of German farm houses from various eras. This area was a farm and except for that first farm house, the other houses...More

Great look at past Germany lifestyles. It's very open, you can walk through the houses and touch the equipment. Not a typical museum. Also a playground and animals to keep everyone interested. The drive to get to the museum was brilliant as well.

We spent about half a day in the museum park itself. However, it is truly worth it, especially if you the the time to talk to the people at the exhibits they are very knowledgable and have many stories to tell.
