I didn’t go to the beach but if you go there, definitely try food from Chez Matante. Delicious grilled seafood!

The sunset was to die for! Absolutely gorgeous! Not sure how it happened, but our friend walked away with about 20 large inflamed red bites on one hand. Not sure if they were from the sand or what? Nice beach though.

I love lobster. The lobster was spiced so nicely but not that fresh. The grilled conch vendors sold amazing conch. The kenepas were a bit small and not as sweet and juicy compared to the ones I found in port-au-prince.

Because my parents are from the South of Haiti, I know most of the touristic places overthere. I travelled with friends as a kind of tour guide

Firt of all, prepare to be HOT around that time of the year. I suggest Decameron, which is close enough to the capital but really not the capital. By all means, get out of Port-au-Prince. Jacmel is really nice, where you can... More

I'm not sure exactly, we went in February and it was great! Haiti is usually pretty hot all year round.
